1Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Home Rent Deal, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in full. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”) and Home Rent Deal (“Company”, “Platform”).

If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organisation or business, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and references to “you” shall include that entity.

These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, brokers, property owners, service providers, and any other persons who access or use the Platform.

2Definitions

For the purpose of these Terms, the following definitions apply:

• “Platform” means the Home Rent Deal website, mobile application, and all related services.
• “User” means any individual or entity who registers or uses the Platform.
• “Broker” means a registered real estate agent, promoter, or agency using the Platform to list or manage properties.
• “Listing” means a property advertisement posted on the Platform, including all associated media, descriptions, and pricing information.
• “360° Tour” means an immersive virtual walkthrough of a property hosted on or embedded in the Platform.
• “Lead” means an enquiry or contact request submitted by a potential buyer or tenant to a listing owner.
• “Content” means all text, images, videos, documents, and other material submitted to or published on the Platform by users.
• “Subscription” means a paid plan (Basic, Pro, or Premium) that grants access to premium Platform features.

3Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under applicable law.
• Not be prohibited from using the Platform under any applicable law or regulation.
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.

We reserve the right to refuse registration or suspend accounts of users who do not meet these eligibility requirements or who provide false information.

4User Accounts

When you create an account on Home Rent Deal, you agree to the following:

• You must provide your real name, valid email address, and a working mobile number.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must notify us immediately at homerentdeal@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• One person may not maintain more than one active account unless expressly permitted.

You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We will not be liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account due to failure to maintain password security.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, posts fraudulent content, engages in spam, or causes harm to other users or the Platform.

5Property Listings

All property listings posted on the Platform are subject to the following rules:

You warrant that all information in your listing — including property type, size, price, location, amenities, and photos — is accurate, complete, and not misleading. Posting false or exaggerated information is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate removal of the listing.

• You must own the property or have explicit written authorisation from the owner to list it.
• You must not list the same property multiple times to gain unfair visibility.
• Commercial or residential properties under active legal dispute must not be listed.

• All photos must represent the actual property being listed.
• Digitally manipulated, AI-generated, or stock images used to misrepresent a property are strictly prohibited.
• You must hold rights to all media you upload. We are not responsible for any copyright infringement in user-uploaded content.

Listed prices must reflect the genuine asking price. Bait pricing or intentionally misleading price ranges to generate leads are not permitted.

Listings on the Basic plan are active for 30 days and must be manually renewed. Pro and Premium plan listings are automatically renewed for the duration of the active subscription. Once a property is sold or rented, you must mark the listing as “Closed” within 7 days.

6Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following activities on the Platform:

1. Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent listings or property information.
2. Scraping, crawling, or extracting data from the Platform without our written permission.
3. Using the Platform to send spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or phishing communications.
4. Impersonating another person, broker, or company on the Platform.
5. Attempting to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the Platform or its servers.
6. Uploading malware, viruses, or any code designed to damage, disable, or gain unauthorised access to any system.
7. Using the Platform for money laundering, fraud, or any other illegal activity.
8. Circumventing, disabling, or otherwise interfering with security features of the Platform.
9. Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Platform.
10. Reproducing, distributing, or commercially exploiting any content from the Platform without written permission.

7Payments & Subscriptions

Home Rent Deal offers three subscription tiers: Basic (Free), Pro, and Premium. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. You can view all plan details on the Pricing page.

All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. We do not store your full card number or banking credentials. By providing payment information, you authorise us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method.

• We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers to paid plans.
• Refund requests must be submitted to homerentdeal@gmail.com within 7 days of the initial payment.
• Renewals are non-refundable once the billing cycle has begun, except in cases of technical error.
• 360° Tour credits that have been used are non-refundable.

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with at least 30 days’ advance notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing cycle; they will apply from the next renewal date.

All prices are exclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless stated otherwise. GST at the prevailing rate will be added to your invoice at checkout.

8360° Virtual Tours

360° Virtual Tour credits are allocated monthly based on your subscription plan and do not carry over to the next billing period.

• Tours must be of the actual property listed and may not be reused for different listings.
• 360° content must comply with our Content Standards — no staged, misrepresented, or altered panoramas.
• Home Rent Deal is not responsible for technical issues caused by third-party 360° hosting platforms (e.g. Matterport, YouTube).
• We reserve the right to remove virtual tour content that does not meet our quality standards or violates these Terms.
• Tour credits used are non-refundable even if the listing is subsequently removed.

9Intellectual Property

All content created by Home Rent Deal — including the Platform design, logo, brand identity, written content, software, and code — is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.

By uploading content (photos, descriptions, documents) to the Platform, you grant Home Rent Deal a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating the Platform and promoting your listings.

You retain ownership of all content you upload. You represent and warrant that your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.

If you believe any content on the Platform infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us at homerentdeal@gmail.com with details of the alleged infringement.

10Privacy & Data

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains in detail how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data. By using the Platform, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

Key points:

• We collect data you provide during registration, listing creation, and enquiry submissions.
• We use data to provide and improve the Platform, send relevant notifications, and ensure security.
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties for advertising purposes.
• When a buyer submits an enquiry, their contact information is shared with the listing owner or broker — this is an expected and essential function of the Platform.
• You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us.

11Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Home Rent Deal is an online marketplace and listing platform. We are not a real estate agent, broker, or property dealer. We do not represent either party in any property transaction and are not responsible for the outcome of any deal facilitated through the Platform.

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not independently verify the accuracy of all listings. Users should conduct their own due diligence before entering into any property transaction. Home Rent Deal will not be liable for any loss arising from reliance on inaccurate listing information.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Home Rent Deal’s total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

12Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at homerentdeal@gmail.com. Upon account closure, all your active listings will be deactivated. Unused subscription time is non-refundable (subject to our 7-day money-back policy for first-time subscribers).

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if:

• You violate any provision of these Terms.
• We suspect fraudulent, illegal, or abusive activity on your account.
• You engage in any activity that harms the Platform, other users, or our reputation.
• Required by applicable law or court order.

Upon termination, your right to access and use the Platform ceases immediately. All your listings, leads, and data may be deleted. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) shall continue to apply.

13Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India. Both parties consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.

Before pursuing formal legal action, we encourage you to contact us at homerentdeal@gmail.com to attempt informal resolution. We will endeavour to respond within 5 business days.

For disputes involving amounts less than ₹5,00,000, the parties may mutually agree to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 of India, as an alternative to court proceedings.
